In light of escalating concerns surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 disease, Software Test Professionals has made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring 2020 STPCon to be held at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa in San Diego which was to have taken place March 30 – April 2, 2020.
The health and safety of our staff, attendees, and sponsors is of utmost importance to us. After the “State of Emergency” declared by California this week, and declarations by the W.H.O., it is clear that government and health officials have determined that the safest course of action for the public, and the best defense against the spread of the disease, is to limit contact with other people, particularly those in a crowd. Many companies have already restricted travel for the next few months. Consequently, we felt that canceling the conference was the only prudent option available to us.
Because STP has already incurred significant hard costs over the past several months during the planning and execution of the conference, we are unable to refund the registration fees but will instead offer a credit toward a future STPCon. We will be in contact with our registered attendees with details on how to apply this at a later date.
Please contact info@softwaretestpro.com if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
STP Staff
